The second sale of the 2018 winter mohair season took place in Port Elizabeth on 4 September, with an offering of 157,893 kg.

The average market indicator gained 9.6% from the previous sale to close on R309.76 p/kg, with 99.1% of the offering sold.

Compared to the previous sale, prices were as follows: Kids (winter) up 12%. Young Goats (winter) up 11%. Fine Adults up 10%. Strong Adults up 7%. Average up 9.6%.
