European distributors have been secured for Coloreel’s eagerly-awaited thread colouring unit, which will be officially launched in Paris at the Avantex trade fair on 17-20 September.

The industrial embroidery machine distributors will be responsible for looking after sales, service and installation to all of Coloreel’s customers. And, securing European distribution is the first step in the Swedish company’s quest to build a global distribution network.

"Coloreel is the most exciting innovation to happen in the world of embroidery for the past 20 years,” says Tony Dorsey, CEO at AJS Embroidery, Coloreel distributor for the UK and Ireland market. “This technology will change the way many embroiderers work forever.”

The Coloreel technology enables instant colouring of textile thread while it is in textile production, the OEM states. The first product to be launched based on this technology is a Coloreel’s thread colouring unit that works with any existing industrial embroidery machine. By instantly colouring a white base thread during the embroidery production, Coloreel innovation enables complete freedom to create unique embroideries without any limitations in the use of colours.

"We think that the thread colouring unit will be the next step in the future of the embroidery business. No more colour restrictions will help to create designs without any barriers," says Torsten Preiss, CEO at Barudan Deutschland, Coloreel distributor for Germany, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland (German-speaking part).
Because of the huge market potential and the clear trend in personalisation, Coloreel will first launch its signature product in Europe. Most markets have joined Coloreel’s distribution network so far and more will join, the company says.

"It's one of those revolutionary game-changers which are a full stop between past and future. We hardly understand how we were able to meet or keep in touch without smartphones only 10 years ago or how we managed to travel everywhere without GPS. Very shortly, we will think about how we've been able to embroider for so many years without Coloreel technology," says Francisco Fandos, CEO at Grupo FB Maquinaria S.A., Coloreel distributor for Spain and Portugal.

The next step is to extend the dialogue to potential distributors outside Europe, says Coloreel. The goal is to expand the distribution network worldwide so that everyone can benefit from being able to use one thread with unlimited colours.

"With many years of experience and expertise in the embroidery market, I feel confident that the distributors will be able to sell our revolutionary product,” says Magnus Hellström, vice president of sales and marketing at Coloreel.

At the upcoming Avantex exhibition, visitors will be able to meet with Coloreel and its European distributors at stand Z428.
