Thies GmbH & Co, a German manufacturer of textile machinery and equipment, is exhibiting its latest dyeing machinery and technologies at WTiN’s Innovate Textile & Apparel (ITA) virtual trade show from 15-30 October 2020.
Thies concentrates on sustainable product solutions and focuses on the development of ‘innovative, intelligent and integrated’ concepts for yarn and fabric dyeing.
The company is showcasing a number of its products at WTiN’s virtual event, including its yarn dyeing machine, the iCone; its ‘innovative’ dyeing machine, the iMaster H2O; its universal, green dyeing machine, the soft-TRD SIII; and its dosing and dispensing systems.
The iCone yarn dyeing machine is “ideal for bleaching and dyeing fibres in different forms like packages, warp beams, combed tops or flock”, the company says, and caters to the flexible and diverse requirements of dyehouses. This means the machine can be integrated into existing facilities: “The iCone can be designed for operation with existing material carriers and correspondingly for adaption to existing dryers.”

The company will also display the latest version of its iMaster H2O dyeing machine, which incorporates various new detail improvements.
Elsewhere, the soft-TRD SIII is said to combine “perfect fabric running properties with the latest short liquor ratio technology,” which means a variety of sensitive fabrics can be treated gently.
“The soft-TRD SIII is ideal for finishing polyester fabrics due to the high-performance temperature regulation,” the company adds.

Finally, the German OEM will showcase its dosing and dispensing systems, which utilise automated chemical and auxiliary supply to reduce error rates and increase reproducibility. More information on Thies’ machinery portfolio will be available across the duration of the virtual exhibition event.
The ITA virtual trade show offers a global audience an opportunity to exchange information and innovations from within the textile industry at a time where the trade show calendar has been eradicated.
Thies says it looks forward to advising and accompanying interested parties 24 hours a day throughout the course of the event.
