TenCate Geosynthetics Americas announces that its most advanced geosynthetic nonwoven production line is now operational.

As a result of the increased demand for its high-quality nonwoven geotextiles, TenCate Geosynthetics Americas has completed an expansion of nonwoven production at its Jefferson, Georgia facility in the US.

“We are excited to announce this production expansion is now operational,” said John M Henderson, president, TenCate Geosynthetics Americas.

“This investment represents another important milestone in TenCate’s strategy and future.”

This state-of-the-art production line has advanced fibre distribution capabilities to create a uniquely consistent product in appearance and finished roll dimension.

It also has the largest card/cross lapper in the staple fibre geosynthetics industry to produce both polypropylene and polyester geotextiles.

A ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the commissioning of this new production line was held on Monday 15 October.
