Digital textile printing OEM DGI, based in Korea, is exhibiting at Innovate Textile & Apparel virtual trade show from 15-30 October, organised by WTiN.
DGI has developed drafting machines, pen plotters, cutting plotters and digital textile inkjet printer technology. The company says it is focusing its efforts to achieve DGI’s company mottos: ‘The answer is at the customer site’ and ‘Quality Management’.
“These are our commitments to the customers to provide the best product in perfect quality,” says the company.
DGI will introduce its innovative nylon transfer sublimation solution at Innovate Textile & Apparel. “This technology, which was specifically developed by DGI, can dramatically improve the environment problem compared to current nylon printing. Moreover, nylon can replace polyester fabric in the near future,” says DGI.
Additionally, DGI’s existing range of digital textile printing solutions will be showcased at the virtual trade show. Its Poseidon 1.6 m/1.9 m dye sublimation printer will be a particular focus. The machine supports four and six colours, including fluorescent yellow and pink, without sacrificing printing speeds, says the company.
DGI’s Hercules machine will also be in the spotlight. The printer is the “first true entry level transfer printer to be added to the DGI family,” the company says. It is designed for cost effectiveness, giving customers better quality at an affordable price, according to DGI.

The company also has two grand format hybrid textile printers for printing on soft signage applications. These machines are capable of both fabric and transfer paper printing. The FH-3204 with Kyocera print heads is a 3.2 m-wide hybrid dye sublimation printer supporting four and six colours including fluorescent yellow and pink. Fluorescent colour printing will be a huge advantage to soft signage businesses, says the company.
Meanwhile the DGI FT-3204X, with Panasonic print heads, is the company’s base entry level 3.2 m hybrid dye sublimation printer with a maximum speed of 70 sqm/h.
