Beaver Paper Group’s number one priority is the environment and the company’s recent product developments have evidenced this.
Beaver Paper’s flagship TexPrint sublimation papers, for instance, are 100% recyclable and can even be composted after use. The company has also launched TexStyles NatureSeries Soft Knit, Beaver Boards display boards and will soon introduce TexSeal Eco Pouches all of which obtain sustainable credentials.
Tobias Sternbeck, CEO, Beaver Paper, says: "Beaver Paper's commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable products to our customers will be key to driving growth for the Beaver Paper brand and for our customers.”

Currently, over 44mn lbs. of synthetic textiles end up in US landfills each day, Beaver Paper says, so clearly something needs to be done to curb the quantity of waste fabric being produced due to trends like fast fashion and signage for tradeshows and retail.
Since synthetic textiles are extremely popular, not least because of their affordability, Beaver Paper’s fabric manager, Jeff Mills, spent almost two years researching and developing the TexStyles NatureSeries Soft Knit fabric to help mitigate the negative effects of synthetic textiles and raise the bar on sustainability within the industry.
Beaver Paper says TexStyles NatureSeries Soft Knit fabric is a revolutionary line of textiles made with sustainable technology called CiCLO. CiCLO is a sustainable textiles ingredient in the form of an additive. It is combined with polyester and nylon during melt extrusion at the very beginning of the fibre making process. CiCLO additive creates millions of biodegradable spots in the matrix of the plastic, where microbes that naturally exist in certain environments can break down the materials just as they do with natural fibres.
Fabrics made with CiClO fibres help reduce textile accumulation in landfill sites. For instance, TexStyles NatureSeries Soft Knit looks and feels like a traditional synthetic fibre and harnesses the same characteristics, but it behaves much more like a natural fibre when exposed to the environment.
NatureSeries Soft Knit fabric will biodegrade in three to five years once it has been discarded, as opposed to 60 years for traditional synthetics in the same conditions, including recyclables.
Soft Knit is a product within Beaver Paper’s TexStyles NatureSeries Graphic Fabrics range. These fabrics are durable and produce the most vivid colour reproductions, the company says. NatureSeries Graphic Fabrics possess all the characteristics of high-quality polyester with the only exception being that they are much kinder to the environment.

Meanwhile, the team at Beaver Paper is also working on its newest product, TexSeal Eco Pouches. The company says the product will launch soon.
TexSeal Eco Pouches will be used for shipping apparel and have many advantages over plastic bags when it comes to sustainability. Paper is easier to recycle and, because it is biodegradable, it can be used for purposes like composting. The fact that paper is recyclable helps lessen its impact on the environment.
Moreover, Beaver Paper has recently added Beaver Boards, printable display boards, to its expanding product portfolio. Produced from natural, renewable resources, Beaver Boards are a sustainable choice for a customer’s signage needs. Specifically designed for digital printing, Beaver Boards are easy to use and provide high-quality processing and printing, Beaver Paper says.
Beaver Paper strives for continuous innovation, quality and the pursuit of sustainability. Sternbeck adds: “We are helping move the industry towards sustainable solutions made from natural and earth-friendly materials.”
