The International Federation of Knitting Technologists IFKT/IFWS has appointed Hitesh Kumar Sharma as its new president for the United States National Section.
Sharma is a knitting technologist and has been with the organisation since 1999.
He has more than 25 years of working experience in the knitting industry and has worked in a senior techno-management position in global multinational companies in the US, Canada, ltaly and North lndia.
Moreover, the number of US and Canada national section members are gradually increasing due to his presence in the organisation.
The federation believe that with Sharma’s familiarity with the knitting sector in a wide North America perspective, he will be a great asset to IFKT.
