Belgian company Drylock Technologies has announced the expansion of its Eau Claire, US, site with a new office building and adult incontinence machinery. In total, the investment package amounts to US$30m.
The company states that it has been just 18 months since it acquired Presto Absorbent Products in 2017, and since then, Drylock has been able to make considerable capital investments to expand the existing production site with increased adult incontinence capacity and a new headquarter building for its US operations.
Commenting on the investment, Bart Van Malderen, Drylock Technologies’ founder and CEO, said: “The facility has the largest and most modern lab of the entire Drylock group enabling us to continuously lead the field in hygienic innovation. As our business is growing also our capacity has been expanded with two new adult incontinence lines that contain our latest technology. We now possess a platform to grow and provide the best working conditions for all of our employees.”
The new headquarters was officially opened by Van Malderen together with a delegation of the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation, the Chippewa Chamber, as well as Senator Terry Moulton and State Representative Kathy Bernier.
