ITMA returns in 2019, taking place from 20-26 June in Barcelona, and Dutch-based SPGPrints has already confirmed it will be showcasing its latest innovations in both conventional and digital textile printing for the fashion and home furnishings industries.
SPGPrints says it is an all-you-need printing partner that can help print houses find the essentials they need.
Based in Boxmeer, the company will be occupying one of the largest booths at ITMA 2019, which will be the base - not only for the latest conventional and digital printing solutions - but also a brand-new rotary screen and digital ink technology centre to assist visitors in finding the right equipment for their printing process. A move which should be well-received among textile manufacturers, a fraction of whom have been very critical of a lack of education in the digital textile printing market.
With the digital textile printing market continuing to grow globally, SPGPrints will be performing live demonstrations of its digital textile printing solutions at its booth.
Single-pass technology is an evolving segment of the digital textile printing market, and that has increased further following the launch of BOLT by EFI Reggiani in November. MS is also rumoured to be launching a new hybrid printer at ITMA and, such is the excitement around single-pass solutions, SPGPrints will be demonstrating the potential of its signature PIKE printer.
Nevertheless, multi-pass printers continue to dominate digital printing’s still modest share of the overall textile printing industry. Consequently, SPGPrints has confirmed that it will be pushing its JAVELIN machine through live demonstrations at its booth.
In terms of conventional printing systems, SPGPrints will take the opportunity at ITMA Barcelona 2019 to showcase its latest generation of laser engraving equipment and the nine-colour PegasusEVO rotary screen printer.
SPGPrints says it is excited to welcome new and existing customers to its 15oo sqm stand at Barcelona’s Fira de Barcelona - Gran Via.
