An entirely new entrant to the water repellency market came in November of last year (2023) with the launch of Devan Repel.

A collaborative effort between Pulcra Chemicals and its subsidiary, Devan Chemicals, its first product would be Devan Repel One – a DWR geared towards synthetic substrates, and more specifically, polyester and polycotton blends. Reflecting the wide usage of such fibres, Repel One is applicable for apparel, soft goods and home textiles. It is applied via padding.
